MAN, THE METAL AND THE MACHINE
Because at Assink & Schipholt only strives for perfection, we have very modern and advanced machinery.
Assink & Schiphol produces sheet metal and construction work. We do this of course with machines; It is not without reason that we have access to very modern and advanced machinery.
By continuing to invest in the organization, the employees, but also in the right machines, Assink & Schiphol has been able to continue its high standards for many years.
MAZAK OPTIPLEX 3015 FIBER III 6.0 LASER MACHINE
In order to offer our customers fast deliveries at a competitive cost, we have been using an L6 laser cutting machine from Mazak for some time. This works with digitally controlled linear drive motors that position the flying optics at speeds of up to 300 m/min. Together with the high acceleration (2g) in all axis directions and the thickness and material-dependent cutting speed, the L6 offers unprecedented dynamics and productivity, which come into their own in the thin-sheet area. The Mazak L6 laser cutting machine can process up to 20 mm thick steel.
TIMESAVERS 42 SERIES RB BRUSHING AND BRUSHING MACHINE
During laser cutting, burrs and rough edges often occur along the cutting surface. For accurate dimensions and a sleek appearance, those edges must be finished. Assink & Schiphol uses the GRINDINGMASTER Multi Directional brush machine, also known as the 42-series-RB, from Timesavers. With this wide-band machine we can process all flat workpieces by sanding and grinding. Thanks to the grinding belts before and after the rotating brushes, materials with extra rough edges are also beautifully finished.
SAFAN DARLEY E-BRAKE 150-3100 T3 KANTPERS
This servo-electronic press brake is the Original E-Brake in a robust version for the heavier segment up to 150 tons of press force and a working length of up to 3100 mm. Our Safan Darley press brake has the most accurate and constant bending angle over the entire range of the machine. The unique patented roller drive in the top beam ensures an even, direct distribution of forces
Blasting cabin 8x4x3m – Glass bead blasting
Glass bead blasting is a surface treatment in which compressed air mixed with glass balls is blown against the product. Glass beading is done at a relatively low pressure of 3.0 bar and with very carefully cleaned and dust-free glass beads. The round glass beads we use for this are 100-200 μm per tonne. They are blown against the material in an even flow. Type marks, discolorations caused by welding or heating the material disappear. In addition, the material is better protected against oxidation (rust). We only bead blast products made of aluminum and stainless steel.
